Currencies

On August 11, 1892, the Gulden (a silver-based currency) introduced in Austria-Hungary in 1845/1857 was replaced by the Krone (a gold currency):
one Gulden (fl) = two Kronen; one Krone = 100 Heller.

The krone became the official currency for the entire Austro-Hungarian monarchy and had equivalent names in all official languages. Banknotes issued by the Austro-Hungarian Bank displayed these names in multiple languages. In Hungarian, the currency was called “korona” (1 korona = 100 filler). Today, the Czech Republic still uses the name Koruna Česká for its currency. (..)

On March 1, 1925, the Schilling currency was introduced, with one Schilling equaling 10,000 Kronen.
